Opening of Maw Green Soil Treatment Facility

Provectus, with their strategic partner FCC have recently opened their second facility at Maw Green, a site close to Junction 17 of the M6 motorway.

The facility has excellent transport links and an annual treatment capacity of 50,000t. The facility permit (ref BS7722ID) allows for a wide range of wastes to be treated cost effectively as a recovery rather than disposal option. The facility recovers the soil for reuse and is landfill tax exempt, saving the client significant money compared to disposing of soil to landfill.

Maw Green soil treatment facility

This new facility in the North West complements the existing facility in the West Midlands in providing a local solution for surplus contaminated soils. It increases the annual capacity of strategic alliance between Provectus and FCC to 200,000t/yr.

Our ability to provide quotes within 24 hours and site visits at short notice to inspect soils allows for clients to receive a quick and cost effective solution. This is easily achieved even on sites where contaminated soil is unexpectedly uncovered during the works and needs to be removed quickly to prevent delays.
