New Owners, Same Faces

The Provectus Group of companies has been acquired by the employees to form an Employee Owned Trust

The operating companies of the Provectus Group are delighted to announce that we have new owners; our employees. An employee owned trust (EOT) was formed in January 2023 and has acquired all of the shares of the Provectus companies. An EOT is a trust which acquires and holds a controlling interest in a company for the benefit of its employees, giving the effect of employee ownership, without the cost of directly owning or buying shares.

The decision to create this exciting new structure was driven by the desire to sustain the company’s independence and to recognise the hard work and commitment of our employees. The forming of the EOT allows us to continue providing our clients with high quality service, without the distractions of a trade sale.

We now benefit from having employees on the trustee board to ensure that they have a direct voice in the oversight of the company. The independent chair of the board of trustees is Ian Hiscock (https://www.linkedin.com/in/ian-hiscock-926437137/) and brings 30 years of partnership experience at John Lewis to help support us as an employee owned trust. This is an exciting future for us and we’re looking forward to continuing to support our clients’ projects for many years to come.

This new company structure will allow us to continue the expansion of new soil treatment facilities for hazardous soil. Our ability to quote for asbestos and hydrocarbon contaminated soils on the same day or within 24 hours to give our customers the best possible service remains as our number one goal.
