Provectus attended regular meetings with contractors involved in the £600 million investment and development of Shotton Paper Mill and the local area. This development and expansion created one of the most advanced paper mills in the world.
Regular site visits took place, often at short notice, which enabled sampling of the impacted areas that were then classified and analysed by our team. Whilst working with multiple haulier companies we offered provision of weekly tonnage reports, and copies of tickets and consignment notes, to assist invoicing and compliance reporting.

The dual treatment of 40,000 tonnes of hazardous soil included hand-picking of asbestos at our Rowley Regis facility and bioremediation to break down elevated TPH impacted soils at our Maw green facility. Due to the large volume of soil the customer benefited from savings of up to £4 million and received a cost-effective, sustainable disposal solution.
